how often should i water my houseplants?

most houseplants prefer to dry out slightlu between waterings. check the top 2-3 cm of soil with your finger, if it feels dry, its usually time to water. Make sure you avoid overwatering as this is one of the main causes of an unhealthy plant.

how much sunlight does my plant need?

most of our plants thrive in the bright, however do make sure that the plant is kept out of direct sunlight, and avoid placing on south facing windowsills as this can scorch their leaves

how do i care for cacti?

Cacti need plenty of bright sunlight and infrequent watering, allow the soil to dry out completley before watering. During winter cacti require very little water.

whats the best way to care for succulents?

Succulents enjoy bright light and well-draining soil. Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Avoid leaving them sitting in water, as this can cause root rot.

How do I look after carnivorous plants?

Carnivorous plants such as Venus flytraps and pitcher plants should be watered with rainwater or distilled water only. Keep the soil consistently damp, provide plenty of sunlight, and never feed them meat or fertiliser they catch insects naturally.
